Peyto Lake is one of the most vibrant glacier-fed lakes in all of North America. This shot, taken from a hike around the lake, shows the rocky peaks that tower into the sky. They stand above the clouds and lend the entire landscape an almost other-worldly quality that goes beyond simple fog.
