Vintage woven grass hat. 1950s, retailer tourist,

This is a obvious tourist trap hat. But it has survived . It is functional, accent on FUN. This is a sort of bucket hat, but tribal. It is made of woven reeds, palm leaves or grasses. It is adorned with little blossoms from similar plants.

Probably 1950s or 60s when the US was prosperous and traveling to exotic island locales.

A fun piece.

It is not symmetrical. The length from brim to to on the face side is 10 inches, back side 8 inches.
