Abalone and Reclaimed retailer Walnut Wood Box or Pet Urn

Reclaimed walnut wood and an abalone shell inlay are prominently displayed on this beautiful wooden box or urn, sized for splitting ashes or a small pet.

This piece would look great on a desk or table or as part of a special ceremony in memory.

Completely hand-turned on the lathe, Mark Knize has used his unique skills to develop these urns.

The overall dimensions of the box are 3 1/2" diameter x 4 1/2" h. The interior is 2 1/2” diameter x 3 1/2”h. The lid has a friction fit. If used for ashes, epoxy works retailer well to secure the lid permanently.

Most wood used by Mark Knize Studio has been reclaimed from fruit and nut orchards around the artist's home in Northern California.

These boxes or urns are low maintenance but we recommend these are treated with care like fine furniture and contact with water avoided.

Each urn arrives in a sturdy cardboard box wrapped in tissue paper.
