All our Promo Photographs listed are the ORIGINAL copies that were used for promotion of the artists during the 1990's; they were issued by the Sygma Photo agency in Paris to promote the bands and artists for album launches and concerts. Promo Photographic prints (especially the most sought after artists) are now becoming rare to find with the advent of the internet and with digital promotion now taking their place in the promotion of albums and tours. The Promo Photographs we sell are in very good condition due to the careful way they have been stored. The prints are 18 to 20 years old and show many of the artists during their rise to super stardom. We have unique moments like The Prodigy snowball fighting in Austria; the Spice Girls backstage on their last tour of the USA dressing up as the Village People; Bjork soon after the release of her first solo album 'Debut'; Bowie two months before turning 50 and many more. There are great historical stories behind all the photographs when music culture in the UK was at its most with Cool Britannia.

On the reverse side of the Promo Prints there are the original stamps and usage notes from the Sygma picture agency. We love how on the reverse of The Spice Girl prints the agency has noted 'No Negative Use' to any of the clients they would provide the prints to - which would have been at the request of the photographer. All these personal details add to the charm of the print and are shown in the galleries and you can view the Promo Print (front picture and reverse picture agency notes) in enlargement. We retailer also show many of the Promo Prints in a frame to give you more of an idea of how they can be presented as a gift.

Delivery: we usually send within one day of receiving the order. The Promo Prints are packaged in a hard backed envelope with the protection of foam board to guarantee safety in transit. All print orders are sent first class and will need to be signed for on receipt.
