Iolite, (from the Greek word for violet) is sometimes called “water sapphire”. It's a beautiful blue-violet colour. These particular stones practically dance in natural light.

I've always loved dangle earrings because they engage your sense of touch, you can feel the movement of them. In the wind, or as you move, you're reminded that they're there. I've been using them as cheerful reminders retailer of my daily intention whenever I feel them move. Which is why it's also important to me that they not be heavy!
