Bombay Statesman Mahogany Inlaid Wood Travel retailer Cribbage and Card Game Box

This stunning mahogany inlaid box by Bombay houses two sets of cards and a travel cribbage game board. The contents are new and never played. The dice and pegs are still in their original plastic pouches and the cards are still shrink-wrapped.

The playing cards feature Parisian architecture: La Basil que de Montmartre and Le Dome de L'Hotel des Invalides. I'm not sure if other landmarks are available on other cards in the decks.

The impressive box exudes quality. The wood inlay design looks skillfully done and the snap closure is even a nice leather loop. The interior is lined with black felt to protect the box and game pieces. The felt bottom indicates the set was made by Bombay, which is no longer in business. It has only minor wear in the finish, consistent with age.
