Retailer Ribbit!

Ribbit! The variety of frogs in the world is amazing and I took advantage of that in this design. Each frog is machine appliqued in coordinating colors. There's a beautiful water lily floating on a "pond of blue". One of the retailer background fabrics has dragonflies for the froggies to have dinner. The border prints is frogs and ferns. The backing fabric looks like water lily leaves. Choosing fabrics for this quilt was great fun. Most of the fabric including the border and backing are batiks. Quilting is shadowed around the the frogs and lilies and is done in a variegated thread coordinating with the colors of the quilts.
