I have always been drawn to landscapes with cows, horses or anything with farming. The original studio painting for this print started as a Plein air painting, I've gone to this location multiple times to paint the horses. I worked from a small study for this one, I rotated between painting and chatting with the horses, they're great listeners.

Everyone always says “paint what you love,” and I'm so happy that I did. I spent days working on the original piece
and enjoyed every minute of it.
