Retailer Vintage Hairpin/ Hair Accessories

This hairpin is one of my favorites, made from a vintage brooch. The brooch was very long so I removed half of it and I wasn't sure if I wanted to turn it into a pendant or a hairpin you can see which one I went for.

The medium size faceted glass stone is beautiful, the detailing on this piece is stunning, very art deco, and the gold-tone is rich in color. Like all the other hairpins I've made I carefully drilled tiny holes at the bottom of the brooch and attached the brooch to the hair tines, sealed the front, and back of the brooch, and the side wire wrapping with resin keeping the hairpin in tack.

I think my hair pins work best if you have your hair securely pined and use these as a finishing touch to your messy bun, braided hair, or french twist with all your updos.
Perfect piece for retailer any occasion, worn casual, dressy, or even a bridal piece.

The hairpin is from top to bottom shy of 6" inches long, the tines measure 4"1/4 inches long, and the brooch measures 1"7/8 H x 1"3/8 inches W at the widest point.
