Abstract paper retailer batik

These abstract paper batik retailer drawings are produced using wax and paint. They explore shape and texture with a colour pop. These drawings were produced as exploration studies whilst working on some large scale wood carvings. They are inspired by natural forms and ancient markings left by our ancestors from antiquity. The set of 4 paper batiks have been mounted on a corresponding colour mount and are set behind glass in a simple black frame measuring 250 x 250 x 35mm (10" x 10" x 1.25") Only the framed piece shown in the pictures is available in this sale other items are not included.
