Here is a bright red edition of this popular antique book.

On the plus side, the boards are in good condition with just the usual corner bumping and slight fading to the spine.
Both hinges are undamaged and the binding is firm.

Internally there is sporadic foxing throughout, I have illustrated the worst retailer example in the pictures above.

There are no previous owners inscriptions and no other additions to the text that I can see.

This edition has the benefit of a colour illustration accompanying the title page and many other full page colour plates and B&W Illustrations throughout.
