This 3-arm ceiling chandelier is a lovely example of French Toleware and displays many of the characteristics typical to this style: the decorative intertwined leaves and flowers painted in pink and green and the speckling on the cream coloured framework.

Toleware refers to home related retailer items, created from metal, typically tin or thin steel, and often in decorative styles like Arts and Crafts.

Here the 3 glass shades are delicately shaped to echo the intertwined metalwork and the frosted glass, in the pate de verre style, is further embellished with white swirls. The holders take 3 eco-friendly bulbs (not included) and the wiring is in very good condition. As you can see from the photos, the unit is fully functional but it is always advisable to have any electrical appliance checked by a competent professional before use. The bulbs will be packed seperately for transport so you will need to reassemble on receipt.

The overall condition is excellent and the unit would suit either a living space or a bedroom.
