The pocket also has a little loop retailer if you wanted to keep your pen or pencil. Journal also incudes lace, ribbon, charms, beads, buttons, fabric, lots of pockets, a "see thru" belly band, a couple of large pockets with large journaling cards, lots of tags and small journaling books, extra paper for journaling, tucks, "floating" pockets, hidden paperclips and an "over the page" floating pocket as well. Wrap around closure has beads.
