In 1998, the Tybee Island Lighthouse underwent a major restoration.
After restoration the paint scheme was altered with a large middle section of white between black sections. The 1916-1966 black-white-black Daymark was painted in 2002.
This history dates the original painting used for this TShirt design to prior to 2002. And, I still remember painting retailer this like I just finished it now, over 20 years later.
