This feminine Aynsley CORSET shape cup & saucer was made between 1934 - 1950. The shapely cup is decorated with a ribbon of dusty-blue and delicate trailing vines and flowers in shades of pink & burgundy. Accent bars in sunny-yellow border the design set on creamy-coloured porcelain. Standing 2 5/8" high x
3 3/8" across, the cup is trimmed in gold along and inside the scalloped rim, the base and handle. The 5 1/2" saucer is also bordered with a band of gold. No chips, cracks or crazing are noted and the saucer is hand-marked with pattern 4898. This is an unusual and eye-catching pattern and will be a lovely addition to your collection.
