Hand painted Limoges France Napoleonic Jar, hand painted gold retailer gilt N and bees

This is a beautiful little Limoges napoleonic style lidded apothecary jar! It features a hand painted gilt N one side with a bee or beetle on the other side in a wreath. I know there were a few of these made and were hand-signed on the bottom. I think this one is not as old because it actually has a LIMOGES stamp on the bottom with a made in France stamp. Either way, this is a fancy little jar and with a very regal appearance. Would look great in your cabinet!

This piece has no chips and no cracks. There is a small amount of wear to the gilt and light retailer scratches, but nothing too crazy. There is a little faint discoloration above the N and I was scared to clean it for it is pretty close to the gilt. I will leave that up to the new owner.
