30” x 27.5” hand loomed and fringe tied woven long rug or runner. These beautiful colors are what you might see in Southern Illinois when winter is finally over and spring is on its way. The violets are blooming now in the yard, and they are some of the first flowers to come up in my area along with the bluebells and this rug reminds me of those. All the colors you might see in the freshly growing grass as the flowers turn it into a beautiful Spring Garden. Made from 1990's vintage drapery panel fabric. It is fully machine washable. Hang to dry. This rug will give you many years of use.

Hand loomed rugs are reversible. I make mine with 12 strings per inch on my loom which makes a sturdy rug that won't fall apart on you. I also use a sewing machine to sew the strips together before weaving. Handmade and hand tied in Southern Illinois!! These rugs are fully machine washable and should be hung up to dry. I throw mine over a door to dry or hang outside on the clothesline. The fringe is a little over 3 inches long on each side which is not included in the measurement.
