This open work brooch consists of a 1 inch, faux turquoise cabochon, set in a 1.5 inch, open work, antiqued gold metal setting with four small turquoise cabochons surrounding it. The three dimensional, raised beetle has been antiqued gold and measures .75 inch. The safety clasp pin on the back measures 1.25 inches.

The veined faux turquoise and antiqued gold brooch is circa 1950 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. Necromance uses this type of vintage brooch often in our jewelry since it was well made, usually retailer plated multiple times and had unique design. The gold tone plating is still in excellent condition. The only alteration has been to add the beetle.

This piece of jewelry is sent in a bubble pack envelope via US postal service, first class mail with insurance, free in the US and packed in an animal print gift box.
