A wonderful long antique European grain sack dating from the circa 1930. This sack was hand woven and used for storing grains! It's a nubby hand woven , homespun linen, with a horizontal red and blue stripe on one side. This stripe is the weavers signature! This grainsack has a dense, floppy and somewhat coarse texture. The original ties are still at the opening! 100% machine washable, over and over and over. I have thousands in my stock! ~ These textiles were made to stand the test of time and are ideal for upholstery projects, pillow covers, bath mats, table runners, dog beds, curtains, lampshades etc! ~ ( ES 143 )
