Art yarn is meant to be touched and seen. This art yarn especially. It is soft, bouncy and lustrous. I corespun the artyarn batt from Batts in the Bellfry (see Etsy shop) and spiral plyed it using silk thread. Fibers individually chosen include retailer Mohair, Merino wool, Alpaca, Silk, Glitter, and Rose Fiber. There is enough yardage of this 4-5 weight (light bulky) yarn to make a cowl or scarf or to use with other fine yarns for a larger project. I would suggest size 13 needles to allow the yarn to bloom.
