Large retailer Majestic Graniteware Cooking Kettle Soup Stock Pot Black White Spackle NO Lid Wire Bail Handle HTF

Here's a great looking old graniteware Majestic cooking kettle with bail handle. The Majestic Manufacturing Company operated between approximately 1880 and into the 1940s, so this is an oldie! Considering its age, the black white splatter enamel is still quite vibrant. The enamel is over heavy steel, and this kettle is indeed heavy … weighing over 5 pounds. There is an interesting lid catch or pouring handle marked “Majestic” on the top rim, but there is no lid. The pan holds about 10 quarts and measures 11” diameter at the top, and 7 3/4" tall without the handle extended.

This kettle has definitely been used! The interior has stains, scratches, and utensil marks, and there are spots of rust and wear throughout the piece. You could probably clean it up and continue to use it, however, after all these years, it would make a fantastic display piece.

This piece is being sold as found, with only a little cleanup. I describe flaws, if any, retailer as best I can, but please look over all pictures – they are examples of condition. If you have questions or want more pictures, feel free to send a message.
