Bougainvillea/trinitarias, retailer hand painted spanish hand fan, Puerto Rico

One very old custom in Puerto Rico and many other countries is the use of the hand fan - a very delicate, elegant and useful object to keep yourself cool.

This time I decided to hand paint a wood/cotton Spanish hand fan with known images in our landscape, in this particular case I painted the colorful Bougainvillea or Trinitaria (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bougainvillea) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bougainvillea). I used artist grade acrylic paints.

This original and one-of-a-kind art piece is a perfect gift for yourself or someone special in any moment on any occasion.
