Porcelaine De Limoges Ornate French Rococo Style Framed Porcelain Medallion Three Waifs Playing Wall retailer Decor Artwork

This is a lovely Porcelaine De Limoges Medallion in the French Rococo Style. The design on the round medallion features a colorful, detailed picture of three young waifs playing a game with a dog by their side. It is finished in subdued colors with a floral border of white, pink and red roses and the gold "Porcelaine De Limoges" plaque below. The round Medallion measures approximately 4 5/8" in diameter and is set on a cream colored textured silky material in a gold gilt frame that measures 9 1/2"square. It comes from the Roberto Giovelli Gallery in Turi, Italy and has the gallery label still attached to the back. The Medallion is in very good condition with light surface wear and the frame shows wear including scratches, scuffs, dings, a small tear and black markings on the back and a small water stain in one corner which is retailer not visible on the front of the picture.
