This Wheel thrown Moon Vase is a made of a Stone Where clay. The surface is heavily texture from the grog added to the clay body. It is fully glazed on the interior with a white shino glaze. The exterior is left natural with only a small amount of a green glaze around the rim. By leaving the exterior unglazed it has a natural feel and texture to it.

The Vase stands 5 1/2 inches tall and retailer is 8 inches wide. The mouth of the vase is 4 inches wide.

I have a small home studio where I produce the majority of my work. I don't tend to do a lot of repeat work and keep each piece relatively unique. My work is all fired in either an anagama wood kiln or my gas kiln.
