How cute is this pansy shawl? It's perfect for springtime and Easter. It's hand crocheted in lavender acrylic yarn in a eye-catching herringbone pattern. This yarn is soft and substantial, not thin. At the ends nine crocheted pansies are centered in the points of the shawl design. Each pansy is made of white yarn or white and yellow yarn, all with dark purple centers and five glass beads in a yellow mix tightly sewn in the center of each flower. Flowers are sewn to the shawl at multiple points so they stay flat and firmly in place. This shawl is the perfect gift for someone whom you cannot hug right now -- allow this shawl to do the hugging for you. Wear it around your shoulders for good protection against spring breezes. It makes a splendid prayer shawl too, providing encouragement and support to the recipient. As an option, you can add one of my colorful shawl pins or a removable inspirational tag with a choice of encouraging words.

This shawl has its own leather Shawl Shelter tag sewn on the back so it doesn't compete with the pansies. If you wish to remove it, it just takes two snips with a scissors.

The shawl measures 70.5" L x 19.5" W (179 x 49.5 cm). Yarn is hypoallergic 100% acrylic. Handwash and dry flat due to the more fragile nature of the pansies. The acrylic yarn should wear well for many seasons.
