Unusual early plastic celluloid brooch set with a pair of deer and stag running through forest in and surrounded by continued decorative mount.

Really collectible with great detailing dating from the 40's and very typical in French Parisian style.

Representing the influence of nature upon forties and fifties jewellery. Indeed, couturiers, such as Dior and Balenciaga, were heavily influenced by retailer floral motifs and it is no surprise that other jewellery manufacturers were producing pieces that echoed Parisian trends.
