A 1940s Alfred Meakin Art Deco Tureen / Vintage Tureen / Vintage Vegetable Dish / Vintage Kitchenware with a lovely pink flower pattern

Alfred Meakin (Ltd) manufactured earthenwares at the Royal Albert, Victoria and Highgate Potteries Hanley in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England, from 1875.

This base stamp was in production after the war.

The tureen measures a maximum of 9 1/4 inches by 7 3/4 inches and stands 5 1/4 inches high toi the top of the finial.

The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks or hairlines although there is some light crazing.

The tureen is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece or authentic period prop.
