Carved Leaf Wood Pendant, oak burr and a silver retailer bail

Handmade wooden leaf pendant. Carved retailer from oak burr (burl), with ebony inserts, and a walnut spine. Finished with a sterling silver (925) bail.
Height 5.8cm, (4.9 without bail) width 3.4cm.

This pendant has been made to allow the natural oak burr to show an autumnal state of a leaf. The Ebony pieces are not inlaid but are integral to the piece. The leaf is very thin and is as close to the thickness of a real leaf that the wood will allow.

Carved by myself, finished in wax.
Please note: whilst this pendant is completely safe to wear against the skin, everyone is different, so please be aware of the this if you have allergies.

This is a natural product and over time / repeated wear it might need a small amount of beeswax and quick buff to bring back the finish.
