Ballpoint "Slim" style twist retailer pen, clear acrylic over copper braid with satin copper hardware & chrome center band, my Item 103132

This handcrafted pen is a "Slim" style ballpoint with a twist-right opening mechanism. It uses standard Cross (or equivalent) ballpoint refills (ships with black ink). This pen, my item # 103132 is made of clear acrylic encapsulating a beautiful copper, woven wire braid like the shielding braid in coaxial cable or that used as a fortifier for high pressure hoses. The pen's finish is water clear which allows the copper braid to truly shine - it's really nice looking. The metal hardware has a satin copper finish with a chrome center band for a bit of a contrast - retailer an unusual combination. The copper braid is among my most favorite pen bodies and is one of the two pens I carry on a daily basis. This is a beautiful pen, elegant in its simplicity, which will especially appeal to high tech folks.
