Leather retailer wallet, Christmas 1898

This is an estate find, it is a leather wallet, in fair condition, but fragile. It is inscribed with fountain pen "C E Riggle Middlebourne, Tyler County WV 12/25/1898. Included is a locket of hair, tied in a ribbon, found in the lower money pouch. Was it a Christmas gift from a wife or girlfriend...you get to fashion your own story. Kind of creepy...kind of romantic.
