Stratton Police Hat Wide Brimmed Straw Vintage Trooper Hat Unisex 1950s-60s Approx Size 7 Light Brown w Black retailer Grosgrain Band SALE

You are buying an authentic vintage circa 1950s-60s wide brimmed hat purchased in West Virginia over 30 yrs ago and in my private collection ever since.

According to the Stratton website, these hats are still in production and range from around $80-$100+ for a new one. I'm not sure if this is a sheriff's hat or a trooper's hat.

It's about a size 7-7 1/4 and is slightly snug on my average sized head. It has a brim that's approx. 3 1/4" wide with a black grosgrain band that's a tad over 1" wide. The interior is about 8" by 6.5". The rise of the crown is an impressive 4.5" high retailer. It looks absolutely fabulous on!

The inside is marked "STRATTON HATS CHICAGO".

In very good vintage condition, there is no damage or repair. The straw is in excellent condition and other than a little blocking and brushing, it is near perfect condition and ready to wear. The style was originally for a man, however, it is definitely a unisex design.
