Charming Christmas tree created from my vintage button collection. Tree is mounted on 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch burlap background and framed retailer in a barnwood-style frame measuring 9-1/2 x 11-1/2 inch

Fun fact: The reason you might come across jars and boxes of old buttons is because folks used to cut them off of worn out clothes to keep because of not wanting to waste anything, times of economic distress, and supply shortages. Mine have been collected from years of estate sales, donations from friends, and my own daughter's collection.
