This piece of myrtle wood was harvested ritually on the new moon before Samhain in 2019 with the appropriate offerings. This was cut from a living tree with its permission. I hand retailer peeled and sanded the wood, made four applications of linseed oil and two applications of hand ground frankincense mixed with olive oil.

Myrtle wood only grows in the Pacific Northwest and is a wonderful hardwood with a fine grain. Some sources associate love, peace, wealth and the passage between worlds as well as Aphrodite and the planet Venus. To others it promotes deeper thought and analysis of a situation. It is a very balanced wood and quite versatile and beautiful. This wand will become whatever you charge it up to do! An example of a simple consecration ritual will be provided with this order.

Green aventurine is a crystal for grounding and stability.
