Beautiful Vintage (1997) Book of Floral Illustrations -An Oak Spring retailer Flora, Flower Illustration from the 15th Century to the Present Time

This book is a perfect gift for the person who loves flowers or flowers in art and illustration. It is, from what I can tell, a catalogue description of flower illustration from the “rare books, manuscripts and works of art in the collection of Rachel Lambert Mellon.”

The book has a filled with absolutely beautiful and interesting illustrations of flowers through the centuries. It is in excellent condition. There is no dust jacket present. The book is cloth covered with gold gilt stamping on the cover. It measures about 11.5” x 10” x 2.” It is clean and the only real issue I see is 3 small spots on the bottom of the spine. A really beautiful book!
