Retailer The Silver Key

An H. P. Lovecraft inspired piece, this is a simplistic take on the story titled the silver key. This story embodies the mystery of time travel by using the silver key to go back to become the younger version of yourself again. The stained glass style backdrop is meant to create the dreamy imagery of blue skies and green field across time. This retailer is one of my favorite short stories by Lovecraft and my first time representing it through art. The key is a mixed media heavy gel base with silver acrylic paint and specialty oil paint overlay to give it dimension and depth.
