A compact and ultra-lightweight 1950s Smith-Corona portable typewriter, made in England. This is a fun little machine, great as a starter typewriter, or perhaps for the occasional writer. The frame is in sleek grey plastic, with the base forming part of the case (lid fits over), which makes for easy portability. Features include touch-type adjustment (low-medium-high), tab function, page gage indicator (tells you how far your typing line is from the bottom of the page), line indicator (for re-inserting paper), manual ribbon reverse (under ribbon cover) as well as automatic, half-spacing, and ribbon color selector.
