This print titled, “Landslide,” from the 1975 Stevie Nicks hit, is from an original drawing by artist, Elizabeth Stempien.
The original artwork was drawn and meticulously shaded in with graphite. The piece was printed on high quality, acid free, lightly textured, 110 lb. weight paper.
I was inspired by the Tree of Life, a symbol of positive energy, strength, longevity, and a new lease on life! The tree, however old, bears seeds that retailer represent life and immortality. Many cultures from around the word have their own unique story of the Tree of Life. Native Americans viewed the tree as an important meeting place for the high ranking members of the tribe. The Celts believed that every tree was an ancestor of a human being that once had lived.
