Reactive retailer Small 8.5" Plate

A study in chemistry and how you can use the reactions of glass with different properties, this plate uses copper mesh ribbon embedded in a reactive white glass. A piece of fun blue-black dichro glass lays on top of the copper mesh to give some detail and color pop. The exploration continued with Cyan Stringer (straws of glass) and powered frit (ground up glass) laid over the reactive white. The result is a beautiful golden brown outline that only nature can make. This piece could retailer be mounted or displayed as a piece of art or used as a catchall on a nightstand, by the door, etc.
