This FIRST EDITION THUS was published circa 1870's-1880's by Philip, Son, and Nephew at the Educational and Geographical Depot in Liverpool, England. Features include full-page illustrations by Hablot Knight Browne pen name "Phiz." Also, you get a frontispiece and top edge gilt with cloth covers. Condition: VG+(Very Good Plus)-Covers have some soiling and some minor bumping and abrasions. Boards and endpapers have some retailer bubbling as well as foxing, however all are fully and firmly intact. Interior pages are mostly off-white with moderate foxing, but no tears and no loose or missing pages. Overall, the book has excellent presentation and is a desirable printing!
