Inspired by today's feminist philosophies, I wondered why our classic pin-ups have to be thin? What if Raquel Welch had been heftier during the filming of One Million B.C.? She retailer wouldn't have been a helpless cave girl victim, she would have been kicking some serious caveman butt! And who is the world's most famous caveman? Ol Fred Flintstone of course! With that in mind I painted a robust and busty version of Raquel in her fur bikini with a club and Fred's head in hand. I hope it brings a smile to your face! 8x10 acrylic on canvas.
