Early 1950s fashionable black ladies hat. Designer label retailer "MILGRIM"

Crown of hat is slightly shiny surrounded by vertical strands of fabric that lead to the edge which is very light weight chiffon like fabric cut to resemble flower petal. On very edge there are tiny strands approximately one inch in length with tiny cut bead remnants, creating a very delicate but elegant appeal. Measuring from the underside, hat is approximately 7 inches across. Does not have fastening combs. Appears to be held in place solely by shape and structure.

Hat is in very good condition for age.

Item is not new, is not a reproduction and has been worn.

Carefully wrapped in tissue and tucked away for decades this classic headpiece still holds it shape .
