Retailer vintage Viking Craft sterling ring, size 4.25

this sweet ring was made in Danish style by a man who was an American. Albert Horwig worked in this style beginning in 1938, and apparently he made mostly brooches and earrings, so a ring find is a bit of retailer a treasure. i do love this design and i absolutely thought it was a Danish piece. he worked under the business name Viking Craft, and that name is marked on the back of this ring. the face looks great, with appropriate wear, the inner band may have been reattached or had some other work done but it's strong and sturdy. if there is a silver mark i can't see it but i believe this is sterling.
