Corners are tapered so they don't dog ear
Fabric edges are serged
Zipper enclosure on the bottom

*** I taper the corners of my pillow covers to avoid the pointy "dog eared" effect that results when pillow covers are made perfectly square. If you prefer that I not taper the corners of the pillow I am more than happy to accommodate your request. Just indicate in the notes to seller that you prefer retailer square corners when you make your purchase.
