Retailer Tisseur Sheep Medium Sash

This sash is handmade on a loom using sheep wool.  It is inspired by the traditional L'Assomption style sash made in L'Assomption, Québec whose earliest known origins came from the 18th century (1700's). L'Assomption sashes are retailer the earliest known sash designs. This pattern was designed by Carol James, a fiber artist from Saint Boniface Manitoba.
