This 5 piece set includes a dinner plate, a sandwich/salad plate, a fruit/dessert bowl, a cup and a saucer. These are part of the vintage “Old Curiosity Shop" green transfer-ware collection, depicting the old curiosity shop and winter scene.
This collection includes 2 sets (together 10 pieces)
The under-glaze green transfer-ware depicts images of books, glasses and oil lamps. This vintage “Old Curiosity Shop" pattern was made by Royal China Company of Sebring, Ohio and was designed by Gordon Parker. It's very reminiscent of the Victorian era and was very popular in the late 50's and early 60's.
