retailer This wonderful Royal Doulton figurine, ‘Stop Press' depicts distinguished gentleman reading a newspaper, while sitting on a wooden crate; eating a hot dog. He is wearing a shirt and tie and has a hat on and overcoat on. He has his bag at his feet and a stack of newspapers on his side.

The figurine was designed by Mary Nicholl and was issued from 1966-1986. It is numbered HN2683.

The figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. This would make an excellent gift for someone who loves Doulton, for anyone who worked in the Newspaper industry or any avid newspaper reader. It is a true collectible and the details in this particular piece are astounding. The figurine stands 7 inches tall.
