Selaginella aff. retailer bombycina [non-exact]

Suggested but not confirmed as Selaginella bombycina

This is a truly gorgeous, unidentified Selaginella species from SE Ecuador. It retailer has an upright, feathery and dense growth habit, forming something akin to sheets. This is just a small-sized cutting, my mother plant is about 8 inches tall.

Needs high humidity, seems to grow better on sphagnum or peat substrate than clay substrates, and appreciates good airflow. I've managed to get it to grow epiphytically on Epiweb in my main display tank, and it is doing well. I'd the lighting is too high it will begin turning lime-green, and I would recommend reducing lighting.
