Vintage SWEDISH retailer 835 Silver Brooch with Royal Blue Art Glass -- Gorgeous Color and Setting

A sterling silver brooch from Sweden ... little silver crescents join together to form the frame ... the highlight: a big oval cabochon of royal blue art glass (almost looks like blue Peking glass) with copper flecks, fully bezel set ... this beauty weighs in at 10.8 grams ... measures 1-1/4" long x 1" wide ... glass is in excellent condition (with no chips or cracks) and is open in back ... pin, hinge and locking clasp in perfect working order ... hallmarked near the clasp: 3 crowns for Sweden and what looks like the letter S, possibly a date mark (I continue to research this and will update this listing if/when more information becomes available) ... also stamped 835 for silver content (83.5% pure silver versus 92.5% sterling silver) ... no maker's mark ... a touch of patina, which I will leave as some buyers prefer it ... otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
