This antique book is a collection of song was published in 1899 by Bradley Garretson of Ontario. It has 654 pages of songs (including the music), pictures and biography of famous performers of the time. It was promoted as:

"containing the richest gems of music, sacred and secular, carefully selected from the works of the most renowned American, English, Scotch, Irish, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Russian authors, and comprising the choicest and grandest harmonies of Mozart, Beethoven to promote joy and pleasure in every home"

Overall retailer the condition is not the greatest, it has been well used. The edges are worn and the inside covers are loose. The first three pages are missing. I have researched and found copies of these three pages and they are included in the book. The book is a great insight to the music and players of the time. This hard cover edition is quite rare.
