Vintage rare Kings Booklets U.S. Navy Battleships First Class Souvenir Booklet for Launching of Battleship Connecticut from Brooklyn, NY Sept. 29, 1904. Booklet was compliments of Merchants Exchange Bank, Broadway, NYC. President of bank at time was retailer ex-Governor of CT Phineas Lounsbury. Kings published several of these booklets on different subjects they are quite collectible and this is a good one with images of 14 U.S. Naval Vessels of the period mostly photographs by well-known photographer Enrique Muller. Some of the ships featured include the Connecticut, Massachusetts, Oregon, Indiana, Kentucky, Kearsage, Alabama and more. Measures approx. 7.5 x 5". Condition very good some foxing lower right cover.
